ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT, STEPHEN GREENWOOD ADDRESSES MEETING


Cr. McLaughlin invited the newly appointed President of the Association to address the meeting.

            Mr. Greenwood addressed the meeting outlining his proposed plans for the future operation of the Association including:
            • Under the guidance of Mr. Figg, aim is to put "house" in order to make every effort to comply with the terms contained within the lease.
            • Commence work on long overdue works and maintenance to buildings and facilities (in accordance with the lease) utilising donated materials and voluntary labour.
            • Proposal to distribute bi-monthly newsletter to keep members informed - will include brief account of Minutes, Treasurer's Report and other matters dealt with at General Meetings, and a report on day to day operations.
            • Mr. Greenwood tabled a sketch plan and outlined proposed plans to upgrade the Showgrounds facilities.
